Product evolution and roadmap
Finance teams ask their Oracle and NetSuite EPM questions in their own words and get real numbers back, each user signed in individually and governed by the security they already have. Here is how the connector got here, and where it is going.

Roadmap

01 · Origins
The connector began as a hands-on prototype built by our founder, running on a single laptop with Claude Desktop.
It showed that finance users could ask Oracle EPM questions in plain English and get real numbers back, including early experiments with updating plan data.
It proved the idea. But a laptop isn't an enterprise answer, so we retired it in favor of a hosted design.
02 · Foundation
We rebuilt the connector as a hosted service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), the same cloud Oracle EPM customers already run on.
Hosted where your Oracle EPM already lives.
Users connect from Claude on web, desktop or mobile, and sign in with their own Oracle identity.
Credentials held in OCI Vault; all traffic TLS-encrypted.
Oracle and NetSuite EPM expertise, proven on live EPM.
03 · Hosting
VanBuren-hosted
We host and run it for you. Fastest path to value.
Customer-hosted · In progress
Installed in your own Oracle Cloud tenancy, inside the security boundary you already manage for Oracle EPM.
Either way: the same Buren. You choose whose Oracle Cloud it runs in.
04 · Releases
Highlights from v0.1 to v0.5. Not official release notes.
v0.1
A secure endpoint, the Claude connector, and live answers from Oracle EPM.
v0.2
Each person connects with their own Oracle identity.
v0.3
The connector learns your chart of accounts, departments and members, so “Q3 opex vs budget by department” just works. Adds year-to-date and period awareness, plus a built-in help menu.
v0.4
Administrators can teach the connector your firm's own terms and nicknames, and the vocabulary stays current as your outline changes. In-product “what's new” notices.
v0.5
Compact responses with response timing shown, learned totals for your hierarchies, answers that follow each user's own EPM point of view (scenario and version), and an interactive job console to see and ask about EPM jobs right in Claude.
05 · Roadmap
Direction, not dates.
In progress
Planned
Watch real Oracle EPM questions answered in plain English, inside Claude.
