What do we need to get started?
An Oracle EPM or NetSuite EPM planning application, a Claude plan that supports custom connectors, and the person who administers your Oracle identity domain for a short setup call.
Does anything get installed?
No. Claude connects to Buren by URL. Nothing goes on anyone’s computer.
How do people sign in?
Each user signs in individually through your company’s Oracle identity domain. No shared passwords.
Where does Buren run?
On Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Credentials are held in OCI Vault and all traffic is TLS-encrypted. An option to install Buren in your own OCI tenancy is in development.
Does it get better over time?
Yes. Buren learns your model’s names and aliases. Rate an answer up or down and it adjusts.
Is Buren part of Oracle, NetSuite or Anthropic?
No. Buren is an independent product, available through VanBuren Advisory.
